Our Story

From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leader

Vogel Alimentos was founded in 1998 by Natasha Sansone with a simple vision: to provide American families with the highest quality food products at fair prices.

The name "Vogel" — meaning "bird" in German — reflects our founder's heritage and symbolizes natural purity and care. "Alimentos," from the Portuguese word for food, represents our global perspective and commitment to multicultural culinary traditions.

Over the past 27 years, we've invested heavily in technology, talent, and sustainability. Today, our 120,000 square foot facility employs over 200 professionals and produces more than 150 products distributed to over 500 retail partners nationwide.

Natasha Sansone establishes Vogel Alimentos in Mount Prospect, IL.

2003

First Expansion

Expanded to 40,000 sq ft and added flour milling.

HACCP Certification

Launched pasta, cereal, and baking mix lines — 100+ items.
